My favorite type of engagement sessions are the ones that involve doing things the couple actually do together. Aytanyah & Karie reached out to me to help celebrate their engagement and when we were figuring out locations, it was easy! These two ladies run a CBD farm so they wanted photos there, at sunset of course! And they also frequently ride their motorcycle and love breweries. I know, they are way cooler than I’ll ever be!
After shots at their farm and the most awesome abandoned church nearby, hanging out the car window to capture them on their bike, we headed to Tobacco Road in Raleigh and drank some beers. It was seriously a good time!
My biggest engagement session tip: Make it a date! Do something you love to do together and it will feel much more natural and the photos will be much more meaningful!
